You’ve probably used Essential Oils and blends for EASY AIR RESPIRATORY issues. Many people get into oils in the first place because they are looking for support for their lungs, sinuses, and air passages.
Here are some helpful hacks to help make oils even more effective when dealing with seasonal and environmental threats.
STEAM TENT TIME
Steam is a very effective method of using Essential Oils aromatically. It drives the Essential Oil components into the body quickly and efficiently, which is especially useful for getting relief for respiratory issues.
Creating a steam tent is quick and easy. Heat a pan of water on the stove (or bowl in the microwave) to steaming, put ONE OR TWO DROPS of oil in (any more will be WAY too powerful!) and breathe in. Be careful to keep your eyes closed to avoid irritation. Add a towel over your head and the pan (or bowl) to make a makeshift steam tent. You might look or feel silly, but your nose and air passages will thank you!
Lemon, Lavender, Peppermint, Eucalyptus, Rosemary Essential Oils, or the Easy Air Respiratory Blend are all great choices when using a steam tent for respiration issues.
USE THE DIGESTZEN DIGESTIVE BLEND
Despite your best intentions to keep every oil you need in stock, sometimes you go through the Respiratory Blend faster than you anticipate, especially during certain seasons or when seasonal threats are plentiful.
When that happens, are you just plain out of luck? Nope! Applying the DIGESTZEN DIGESTIVE BLEND to the bridge of your nose can also help maintain feelings of clear airways and easy breathing. And if your ear is feeling clogged, place a couple drops of this blend on the outside of the ear.
This trick might be surprising, but remember that the DIGESTZEN DIGESTIVE BLEND contains Peppermint, which is one of the Essential Oil Superstars for respiratory support. It also contains Fennel and Coriander, more oils that help support the lungs and respiratory tract.
So the next time you find yourself without your EASY AIR RESPIRATORY BLEND or just wanting to change things up a little, try the DIGESTZEN DIGESTIVE BLEND instead.
