DIY DIFFUSERS

DIFFUSERS are amazing! Many Essential Oil lovers have one for every room.

But what about when you’re first starting out? Or if you can’t afford one? Or if you only have diffusers that plug into the wall, but you want to diffuse in the car or on the go?

A simple solution is to make your own diffuser with a cotton ball and clothespin. Here’s how:

1. Glue a cotton ball to the end of a clothespin.

2. Place a couple drops of Essential Oil on the cotton ball.

3. Clip the clothespin to a fan or car vent.

You’ll soon enjoy the aroma of your Essential Oils wafting around the room just as you would with an electronic diffuser, and it will only cost you pennies!

CLEANING YOUR DIFFUSER

It’s important to clean your diffuser at least once a month (once a week is better if you diffuse every day). This helps clear out any gunk left behind by thicker oils and keeps your diffuser kicking out plenty of mist for all your aromatic needs.

You can use Essential Oils in the cleaning process for your diffuser. Fill one third of the way to the fill line with vinegar, add ten drops of Lemon Essential Oil or the Purify Cleansing Blend, and finish filling to the fill line with water. Run the diffuser for 20 to 30 minutes, then dump out liquid and wipe with a cloth.

Regularly cleaning your diffuser can help extend its life and keep it supplying you with lots of mist for a long time.
