STEP 17 - HAIR CARE HACKS

CREEPY CRAWLIES PREVENTION

All parents dread that call from the school nurse; something suspicious showed up during a routine head and hair check.

As soon as you hear those words, your own head starts to itch. You look around the room suspiciously, wondering where the creepy crawlies have spread, and a big knot forms in your stomach at the thought of all the cleansing work ahead of you.

The chance of this scenario happening to you drastically decreases with just a couple drops of TEA TREE Essential Oil. TEA TREE has been known to repel lice, thanks to its cleansing and purifying properties. Simply by putting up a couple drops in your kids’ shampoo, you can help protect your family from unwanted hair guests.

And since kids aren’t the only ones susceptible to lice, why not put a drop or two in your own shampoo? After all, Tea Tree is so good for your hair and scalp anyway!

SO SHINY

Have you ever wanted silky, shiny hair without having to pay a fortune at the salon or cake on products full of chemicals? Just a few drops of Fractionated Coconut Oil is all you need to achieve perfect hair shine. Place a few drops on the palm of your hand, rub palms together slightly, then work through your hair.

Fractionated Coconut Oil works great on its own, or you can add any of the following Essential Oils that are also known to help hair look healthy and shiny:

• Lavender

• Jasmine

• Ylang Ylang

• Geranium

• Clary Sage

• Roman Chamomile

• Sandalwood

FRIZZ-TAMING SPRAY

Is your hair prone to shocking static in the winter or frustrating frizzies in the summer? Just shake and spray this natural frizz-taming spray to help flyaways stay in place. It helps hair settle and moisturizes at the same time.
