STEP 9 - BATHROOM HACKS

broken image

Sometimes you feel a pressing need to need to light a candle in the bathroom, especially if your teenager or toddler has just spent some extended time in there. But many candles contain toxic fragrances, and it’s far too easy to light a candle and forget about it (hello, fire hazard! Eek!).

Essential Oils make delicious bathroom deodorizers. They neutralize unpleasant odors, cleanse the air, and can even uplift mood.

But do you really want to leave your diffuser in the bathroom when you could be enjoying it elsewhere?

Instead, put three to five drops of your favorite cleansing, fresh smelling oil(s) on the inside of the cardboard tube of your toilet paper roll. Every time someone reaches for the TP, it will be like a breath of fresh air. This is especially great if you have a small bathroom because you won’t have to clutter counters and windowsills with deodorizers.

LAVENDER PEACE RESTFUL BLEND BATH OIL

It’s been a long day at work, and you just want to soak the stress away with a relaxing bath. Bath salts are wonderful and easy, but some days, emotions and head tension can make even something as simple as digging out the Epsom salt, Fractionated Coconut Oil, and calming oils seem like a monumental task.

There’s a solution that’s even quicker and easier: poke a hole in a couple SERENITY Restful Blend Complex Softgels (US warehouse) and add the liquid contents to your bath water. Two capsules contain plenty of makeshift bath oil to help you relax and recover emotionally from a difficult day.

BONUS: Serenity Restful Blend Softgels promote restful sleep and help you get the refreshing sleep you need, so a warm soak before bed could be all you need to combat occasional sleeplessness.

SHAVING SECRET

Do you know anyone who loves to shave their legs?

Neither do I.

The aftermath of irritated skin and annoying razor bumps is enough to make even the most die-hard summer lovers wish for long-pants-season to come early.

A natural alternative to most shaving creams and razor gels is to use the On Guard Protective Shampoo and/or Smoothing Conditioner. They contain Essential Oils that leave your hair soft and smooth (like Lavender and Cedarwood Essential Oils), so why not let your skin reap the same benefits? And both products provide extra soothing in the event that any irritation or nicks do occur.

BONUS: The shampoo doubles as a fun, relaxing bubble bath!
